When water damage occurs in your Warren area the SERVPRO professionals are ready to handle the situation. In order to properly get rid of the water and get your home or business back to normal we train our professionals to understand the factors of water damage restoration. We follow the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) which sets the standards for cleaning and water damage restoration. They provide three different types of liquid involved.
Category 1: Liquid from a clean and sanitary source, such as faucets, toilet tanks, drinking fountains, etc. However, category 1 can quickly become category 2.
Category 2: Liquid having a level of contaminated that may cause illness or discomfort if ingested. Sources may include dishwasher, washing machine, flush from sink drains, and toilet overflow.
Category 3: Worst classification being grossly unsanitary. It can cause severe illness or death if ingested. Sources include sewer backup, river or stream overflow, and stagnant liquid that have bacterial growth.
