Cladosporium is the most common type of mold we see in our households. You probably have seen it on your food such as bread. The mold is a green, black, or grey color. This type of mold is harmful with people who have allergies or asthma. It could cause allergic reactions and shortness of breath for individuals who are diagnosed with asthma. Aspergillus is a type of mold that usually occurs in moist areas in your house and grows very quickly. This mold usually appears on the walls of your basement; most people ignore it and do not take action because they are not aware of the infections it causes.
