Sump Pump Failure in Cortland, OH
3/3/2020 (Permalink)
As most of us do during the winter months, a homeowner in Cortland, OH went south to vacation in the warm Florida sunshine! As she was enjoying her time on vacation, she had no idea her sump pump in her basement had overflown and caused several inches of water to fill her basement floor.
Upon her return home, she noticed the incident and made the decision to call the highly trained and experienced restoration professionals at SERVPRO of Southern Trumbull County. The SERVPRO crew responded quickly and were on the job site to begin the mitigation process immediately.
The basement of this home had a large amount of contents that our workers immediately lifted from the ground to prevent any further water damage. With the homeowner needing to be present to direct our workers on what content to keep and what content to dispose of; we made it a priority to work around her schedule as she had a family member receiving surgery at the time. After all the contents were moved and stored away, the mitigation began. The SERVPRO production crew was able to completely clean, sanitize, and deodorize the homeowner’s basement in just one day!
We were very proud of the way this job turned out and especially happy to be able to make it "Like it never even happened," for our customer! We are pleased to be able to share this successful water mitigation job in Cortland, OH.
